About the Breeder

We are a family farm in rural central Illinois on a 300 acre farm. On our farm we raise a little bit of everything including Simmental cattle, several different breeds of poultry, corn and soybeans, as well as our Australian shepherds. There are also several several cats, a goat, and a rabbit.
We believe in raising quality Australian Shepherds for use as both working members of your farm and/or as family pets, and we believe in doing so at affordable prices.  We only raise a few litters a year. We believe in careful breeding to prevent genetic problems and to ensure that our puppies are happy and healthy.  Our litters are registered to ACA (American Canine Association) and some registered to AKC (American Kennel Club).
Our dogs can easily transition into wonderful pets, work companions and canine athletes.  Our aussies love to play, herd and perform in sports such as agility, herding, flyball, treiball and dock diving.

All our dogs are socialized in many settings including the public, around livestock, and with cats. We raise our dogs on our farm in both indoor and outdoor environments.  All of our dogs have their dewclaws removed and their tails docked (some are naturally bobbed). When our dogs leave our home, they are up-to-date on de-wormings, vaccinations and vet examinations. They also go home with a puppy packet that includes all of the dog's documentation and information to help the new "parents" transition to life with a new puppy.
